FAQ
Common questions
Registration, fees, the reunion itself, and the alumni directory.
Reunion Registration
Alumni of the Department of Geology and Mining, current and former teachers and staff, recent graduates, and currently enrolled students. Choose the category that applies to you on the first step of the registration form — the fee follows from it.
No. An email address is optional. Your mobile number is required, and you can sign in to the member portal with either. If you do give an email we will send your confirmation to it.
Teachers and alumni may bring accompanying guests at an additional fee each. Recent graduates and current students register individually. The running total on the form updates as you add guests.
Payment
Payment is handled manually. You may pay by bKash, by bank transfer, or in person at the departmental office. Afterwards enter the transaction ID or receipt number on the payment step and, if you can, upload a screenshot or deposit slip — it speeds up verification.
The committee is confirming the bKash and bank account details. Until they are published the payment step says so, and you should contact the helpdesk before sending money by those methods.
A committee member checks each payment by hand against the transaction ID and receipt. Until that happens your registration shows as awaiting verification, and your entry pass stays locked.
event
The Golden Jubilee is being marked in 2026. The exact date and venue have not been fixed yet — they will be announced here and emailed to everyone registered.
General
Sign in to the member portal. Once the committee has verified your payment, your entry pass and payment slip become available to download as PDFs. Your registration slip is available immediately.
Use the mobile number you registered with, or your email address if you gave one, together with the password you chose. If you have forgotten it, use "Forgot password" — that route needs an email address on file, so contact the helpdesk if you did not give one.
